Time for the 6th Annual Best of Milton  Auction to be held on September 10th from 4 to 7:30 pm at the Milton Fire Hall. All donations helps the Milton Historical Society meet their mission of collecting and sharing the history of Milton and the Broadkill Hundred. This is a great way to get to know Milton. We always run into friends who have lived in town forever and meet newcomers who just arrived. It’s always a great time and we usually leave with some great finds.

Milton CHEER Center Opens

2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

The new Milton CHEER Center is opening at the Feed Company, 13275 Reynolds Road, Milton, DE 19968. Call for more information 302-684-4819. Free CHEER tote bag to the first 100 people who sign up for membership and if you sign up now, your membership will be good until October 2012.

Membership is only $25.00 per year for everyone over the age of 50. Sounds like a deal to me!

Best of Milton Auction

Everything from a symphony package to a cruise to Bermuda will be up for bid during a silent and live auction to benefit the Milton Historical Society Saturday, Sept. 10, at the Milton Fire Hall, 116 Front St. in downtown Milton. Guests can enjoy live music, hors d’oeuvres, Dogfish Head beer and Teller wines from 4 to 7:30 p.m. as they shop through a large array of items, trips and services.
